Defiance Bangerz displays public X posts and forecasts their engagement. The site stores recent public forecasts and your display preferences in your browser to make navigation faster.

Your predictions

Connect X to save predictions privately to your account. We store your public X ID, handle, display name and profile image, plus your latest call for each post, its submission time, forecast context and recorded result. X access tokens are used to look up your identity and are not retained. A secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; Disconnect revokes it. Earlier anonymous submissions remain linked only to a hashed browser identifier. Your identity and prediction choices are not sent to Google Analytics.

My posts

My posts shows public posts we have already collected, matched to your connected X account. Opening this page does not start collecting new posts or enable account monitoring.

Public leaderboard

Connecting X automatically makes your leaderboard record public. Anyone can open your profile to see your X identity and overall prediction record. Your correct calls, misses and hit rate appear in the leaderboard rankings after your first scored result. Individual saved predictions remain private. Disconnect ends your session; your public record remains.

On-demand forecasts and notifications

Opening a missing public post can start collecting its engagement snapshots. Those public snapshots stay in our regular dataset. We use a random browser identifier and a daily hash of the requesting IP address to limit collection requests. If you choose Notify me and grant browser permission, we store the browser push subscription for that post’s forecast window and send its update through your browser’s push service. You can revoke notification permission in browser settings. The site can send this update after you close its page; delivery depends on your browser and device settings.

Usage analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits, pages viewed, referring sites, device and browser information, approximate location, scrolling and outbound link clicks. Google uses cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. We do not send your private prediction choices, browser voting token, or form input values to Google, and ad personalization is disabled.

Google processes this information on its systems. Detailed event data is retained for up to 14 months; aggregated reports can be kept longer. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Analytics is optional. Declining does not affect forecasts or saved predictions. Your preference is stored in this browser, and you can change it below. Turning analytics off stops new collection and clears this site's Google Analytics cookies; it does not delete data already collected.

External services

Our site and prediction API run on AWS. Public author images load from X's image servers, and links to original posts open X. Those services receive the information needed to handle requests, such as your IP address.
